The Liberatory Promise of Archives of Survival. University of California Regents Lecture. April 13, 2023.

They help oppressed communities reclaim and build new power - narrative power, political power, cultural power. More important than their technical infrastructure is their moral architecture: by centering community and care, archives of survival actualize the relationships we want to see across our communities; relationships built on understanding, truth, and accountability.
